About Us
Welcome to Newcastle (staffs) Sub-Aqua Club. We are branch 1237 of the British Sub-Aqua Club. BSAC has over 40,000 members worldwide and is the governing body for the sport in the UK.
We are a community-based club meeting at Clough Hall Leisure Centre, Kidsgrove, on a Monday evening at 8:00pm. We meet for pool training, swimming and snorkeling sessions and then go to the Clough Hall Public House for planning of dive trips and general discussion.
We have an active diving programme, with regular trips around the UK coastline such as Plymouth, Weymouth, Oban and Scapa Flow. Our overseas destinations have included The Red Sea, Bonaire,Truk Lagoon, and many more.
We accept members from all other diving agencies, with full cross over training available. We also have a junior snorkel section, a regular try dive programme and a good social section.
